We (operator) purchase wood products from a supplier in China. We have many orders throughout the year. The timber of the items all comes from the same plot/batch.
According to the EUDR regulation, can we submit one DDS for the entire assessment and can we use this one DDS reference multiple times over a period of 12 months?
Or do we need submit DDS for each shipment?
We also have the same question. Are the Osapiens team members watching these threads able to help with an answer? Many thanks

Thanks for the question Michaela! I already forwarded this question to our expert partners who will answer more detailed.
Asking my colleagues I received the quick answer, you need to submit a due diligence statement (DDS) for each placing on the EU market, under the EUDR, meaning each shipment. But as this is a highly legal question we would need some input from our partners. Happy to hear your thoughts!
We have a similar curiosity and will be following the commentary to this closely. Rewording it a bit though: Regardless of whether you’re sourcing out of a single lot or not, what would be wrong with a strategy where you’re routinely creating an aggregated assessment based on everything you’ve purchased for a year and submitting for a DDS using that assessment? The DDS# is then reused over and over for all shipments of any product (in the same wood/timber family) over the course of 6-12 months. Where does that break down?
