The Platform on Sustainable Finance is a permanent expert group of the European Commission. World-leading sustainability and industry experts representing a wide range of stakeholders, including financial market participants, industry, civil society and academia. According to the Taxonomy Regulation, the Commission must consult the Platform on Sustainable Finance, before adopting the delegated act on technical screening criteria. The Platform plays a key role in developing the technical screening criteria, as it provides indispensable technical and scientific input to the Commission and allows for a reasoned discussion among experts, reflecting the various stakeholders’ views.
