What happens if suppliers upstream fail to furnish necessary details?

If operators (excluding SME traders) cannot procure mandated information from upstream suppliers as per the Regulation, they must abstain from placing or exporting the related products. Failure to comply could invite Regulation breaches and subsequent penalties.
